IPS and FPR are recent technologies introduced to enhance the 3D TV viewing. IPS improves the viewing angles while FPR helps in reducing the flickrs.

IPS and FPR are two interesting features which has helped 3D TV technology a lot. FPR (Film Type Patterned Retarder) and IPS (In Plane Switching technology) are not available with every brand of 3D TV.
