So as the title stats states has the recession affected u in any way?Has anyone in your family lost a job because of recession?

nope.. has not affected me in any way yet.. hope it does'nt in future too.. nobody i know has lost his/her job because of recession..

I was offered a job in foriegn countries in dubai.Due to recession i lost my job.Rite now iam jobless.Iam trying but there is no openings in the companies.my friend who was working in hcl also lost his job due to recession.

I was affected by it. My company filed for bankruptcy and laid off all of the staff in India. Damn you Bush.! If it had not be for you i would have still had my job.!

Anyway I decided that I did not want to be employed again and rather employee.! So just looking for something I can do.. Have any idea people.?

Nobody has lost a job because of it but I am not getting a job right now, don't now whether it is because of recession or my own incapability. I can't see a single opening for a software engineer these days.

Yeah. This is a tough time to secure a job. My friends graduated from engineering schools this year. Most of them got offer letters. Some of them only for next year. But they are atleast assured a job.

Some of my friends not happy with time offers joined for mba and masters.

oh that sounds scary. Making me worried!
