I remember the days when I used to spend a lot of time there, but not anymore. I don't even remember when did I last logged in to orkut.

I think people, specially indians, are actually wasting a lot of time there. It has nothing useful or knowledagable to offer. Everybody is aware of the recent crimes that happened via Orkut.

Its still in BETA stage and people are fully misusing it by creating 10 fake profiles each, scripts and hacks to grab their *friends* password lol. WTF!

I stay active ONLY on forums and places that I think make me learn something each day, ofcourse, we can make friends their as well.

Personally, I don't give a damn there or simply ANY of the 1001 social networking sites

Orkut is good. You can find all your old friends and you can maintain contact with them. Also you can find new friend all over the world and you can share your thoughts with them.

yeah orkut is a good one, i have met many of my friends with whom i wasnt in contact from many years.

i think its good.. found lots of old friends of mine on orkut.. its a great place to keep in touch with ur friends..

dude, the internet is full of expilcit contents, so what do you have to say about that. As far as orkut is concerned, I've met a lot of my school freinds through orkut. It is here to stay

If not orkut some other networking site will keep a lot of people glued to it.
These social networking portal gives and illusion that you are in touch with some one you want to be with and when you realize that it is not so you turn away from them. But then the number of teens that get attracted towards these 'places' are more then people returning from them.

I am not the biggest fan of orkut. I have marked my presence there by registering. The think i hate most is when people dont use their real names. The very idea of finding your friends. Which i think defeats the use. I prefer facebook to orkut. I feel it has a better crowd.

It was really good social media site but after arrival of facebook its not charming now...
