Amrita Rao is one of my favorite bollywood actress.I think she is the most decent actress in the whole industry. I want to share some information about her career here-
Amrita Rao belongs to the Chitrapur Saraswat Brahmin family in Chitrapur a city in Karnatka which is the city where she born.She has a twin sister Preeta Rao, also a model.
She had done most of her academics in Mumbai and got degree in Psychology
from Sophia College. She got a call in the advertisement industry during her this time and stats steps to the become a superstar by accepting it.

Amrita Rao stated her career as a model and you have seen her in the Bru coffee advisement.She had also done advertisements for Cadbury’s Perk and Fairever Face Cream. She debuted in industry in the year 2002 in the movie Ab Ke Baras.This film was not a success on Box Office and it doesn't create her much hype which she actually deserves. But she come back with Ishq Vishq in 2003 were she get good recognition in public.In year 2004 movie with the superhit movie mai hoo na she opens the door of the way to become superstar.

But her career went through the period of recession during 2005-06 when Deewaar (2004), Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi (2005), Shikhar (2005), and Pyare Mohan (2006) did poorly at the box office.

But her reverberate with her super hit movie Vivah (2006) opposite Shahid Kapoor and this movie makes her favorite of millions.The film was a universal success and her performance was well appreciated everywhere.
Recently her movie Welcome to Sajjanpur in which she has played a village belle was also appreciated in the industry.'

I love Amrita Rao for her innocence and next door simplicity...Her acting in Vivah touched my heart..She has also acted well in Welcome to Sajjanpur. The movie is very slow but is worth watching for amrita rao and the iqbal hero..sorry forgot his name
