I think india is producing good boxers. We should provide them good facility to get more medals. We are not having good coaches and infra for it.

Government has to take actions for it. Need more high-tech and classy coaching centres. All kinds of sports MUST be encouraged and promoted equally.

The worst thing about poor develop of sports in our country is ignorance and attitude of people. We tend to forgot success and failure too easily. Whenever there is any success in any game we hardly pay attention to it ( cricket) and where ever there is any failure then also we forgot it too easily. I would also say that sportsman too are responsible for it. when they achieve some success they take back seat and does not perform to a level at which they should.

I have a classic example. Take the case of ace shooter Rajyawardhan singh rathore. He won silver medal ( correct me if i am wrong) in Athens Olympics in 2004. After that he got world class facilities for training to get gold in next Olympics, but what was the result? a sheer failure.

i think govt should provide good training and infrastructure to our players and im sure they will definately make this country proud

in last olympics it was just a starting for our boxing guys and i think they will be well prepared with all funds and infrastructure for the next olympics.
