we used to depend on fab four, as they are seniors for the team. but now we have a really great and well changed team.

India still needs Sachin Tendulkar, others can be a bit of heavy baggage but Sachin is a person who keeps winning matches for us, even after 19 years of service. New boys have just one-day skills. Rahul Dravid too is very important in tests.

fab four of the indian team have played the most number of matches.. hence very experienced.. they share around 35000 runs among themselves.. clearly all the four players are match winners..

| i truly agree.....They are match winners.....At times though feel the dependency is too much.....

We call them fab four because they have played so many matches for our country and their perfomance most of the time was consistent.

I don't think this theory holds water anymore. You've got MSD, Yuvraj, Sehwag, Gambhir other than the fab out of which only Sachin Tendulkar seems to be holding fort. |

Well the time has star changing as so as the attitude of the cricketers...Everyone is playing for securing his position in the team....So the fab four concept is out of the context....
