Default Somewhere to stay in Chennai?

I would like to visit my Guru's Ashram, which is in Anna Nagar, in Chennai. But unfortunately they don't have any programme for residential accommodation there, so I would have to find somewhere (cheap) to stay.

Does anyone know of a good place?

Chennai is a huge city. I am sure once you reach there you'll find a lot of places to accommodate yourself whereever you want.

I've stayed at the Hotel Chandra Park several times. Starts at very cheap rate includes buffet breakfast, but probably one of the best values in town. Just opposite the Egmore train station. I think, it's better for stay.
