Great news , we are going to have a doctrate onboard very soon lol , anyhow my dad did his Phd in 1968, so he might know lol, i will ask him about the details but before that tell me which of india are you from?

Why not pursue PHD from US, UK or Australia? Would bring some shine to your CV

Ofcourse it costs but student loans are always there to help. Check this out.

Well I would agree to that. But its not something everybody can afford, loans have to be repayed too. If you can do afford, studying overseas is the best choice IMO.

Hello...

This might seem like an unusual topic, as most scientists seem to know exactly what a PhD is and for what it stands.
But on closer inspection, a PhD has as many meanings as there are educational systems.
It is not and has never been a single, well-defined qualification.
As research practices and funding change, the situation becomes even more confused, with consequences for the quality of both scientific training and research...
