Due to lots of problems in US , do you think IT education is going to lose its popularity among the students? Which do you think is the evergreen field for students?

Evergreen ??? what you want the most engineering, automobiles, pilots you can add on and on .... IT will again pull up but the evergreen is core companies like the manufacturing etc...

Up and Down are normal routine in IT industry so dont worry about this. This sector will not be down so keep going on.

But most of the people in IT industry started to lose their jobs and US President Obama have gave the statement here after there will no out sourcing job for India.

yeah the markets are totally down so as the IT, i think it will take an year or 2 for IT field to rise again. i think MBA is evergreen

I agree that management is one of the evergreen fields becoz of its huge requirements... also branches in engineering will never lose their value... like mechanical and civil for instance.......

there's nothing like evergreen field i feel so.Because things change with time.

There is nothing like evergreen this are chaging everytime.,
And IT field will come up in a year or so..,
and Management studies are also good.,

yeah...there is nothing in life that is constant...Things keep on changing..IT field will always have a place for the youngsters....It may take a year or so....So gear up if you are in IT field for a great job...ahead...

I think mechanical,eee,civil,c.a will be always lasted forever.where drop in economy or not.

IT is not a evergreen subject, when i joined my B.E cse in 2002 it was down everyone made fun that It wont last for long so better choose ECE or EEE (which was peak by then) but fortunately everything changed whem i finished in 2006 IT was in its peak, but due to some bad advice from my friends i choose to open a BPO instead of joining in a IT iam regreting that decision now, anyhow if you aske me then i will go for Civil, Mechanical engg are evergreen :-)

It will remain evergreen bcoz technology revolution will keep on changing its face . all you have to do is to saty in touch with latest things in IT.
