This is the first show in India which shows good songs for people. After that private channel hits the market but still I think rangoli is the best. One can see good old songs there.

Rangoli? Which channel does it come on? Star Gold? I have never heard of it nor have I seen it!

Rangoli? Which channel does it come on? Star Gold? I have never heard of it nor have I seen it!

This is the Doordarshan forum, so must be a show on DD only.

I remember Chitrahaar that I used to watch 10-12 years back for latest songs. Not heard of Rangoli though.

Door darshan is most famous for the epics, Ramayan and Mahabharata not Shaktimann. The best were those two epics. My Mom and elder brother used to like Chitrahaar the most. On those days we used to assemble near Tv for watching Mahabharata, even in unknown strangers houses when we were on tour. Life used to stop for one full hour on the road, when Mahabharata was going on, the roads were deserted. Only after Mahabharata was over did people come out of their house.

I remember I used to switch on TV even before getting up from bed on Sundays for Rangoli songs, This show was the only motivation for me as a kid to get up early in the morning on Sundays. I just used to love the title song but don’t remember.

i watched Shaktiman,played by Mukesh khanna......watched chitrahaar....but haven't seen rangoli yet...is it aired now too?????

rangoli.. the first show on tv which played all hindi movies' songs.. i remember watching movies on sundays.. its an all in one channel..
