When AAajtak was new, it was a very good news channel giving good news coverage and precise news.
but now it has become worse. its level has gone totally down and only crap news is shown. nowadays they show only entertainment related stuff mainly. they even have special shows for giving you updates on what has happened in the recent saas-bahu serials.

Its just competition fever, I believe.

Even Star and IBN has exclusive shows for serial updates.

But I do agree the fact that their standard is downgraded. They are mostly focusing on showing controversial news (that mainly includes serials/reality shows ofcourse) to gain public attention. Cheap way though

Right its a competition and other channels are being real. Aaj tak is being bore now. They are not getting good news but Vaardaat is the best program they are having

There are lots of competition in the market. so Aajtak also wants to cover each and every news. I agee with you these days they have downgraded there standard.

AAJTAK a big crap, i really hate the way he narrates any issue. and my god the way he takes a simple topic and he will make an hour or two hours show by repeating the video's now and then, and the one thing i like him about is what a great caption he chooses for every news lolllll. NO OTHER NEWS CHANNEL CAN ATTRACT AS HIM

yeah you are right they are more interested in showing controversials, i still remember about the cheerleaders in IPL, i dont know how many times i have seen cheerleaders dance in the game but i have seen cheerleaders much more times in news lolllll

Aaj tak is not aaj tak, but kal tak nowadays. They are repeating every news, they have become stale with competition. Earlier they had only zee news for competition, now there are too many.

Aajtak has gone down both in quality and standard.It has news full of rumors and gossip,News that hasn't occurred.During the Mumbai blast it showed blast in four taxis whereas it happened in two.Their news at times is misleading.

I agree also Aaj Tak does not provide quality news it used to provide in the past. India TV is improved a little bit I think.
