Makar sakranti is just coming...How many of you fly kites on that day???Do you celebrate in a different manner?? If yes, do tell us how???? We make til ladoos and eat ghevar a rajasthani sweet, fly kites in the afternoon. |

I’m from Telugu community so Sankranthi is major festival for us its just like Bisaki in north a harvest festival. We made so many goodies and don’t ask me how much I ate ( I have put on 2 kgs this sankranthi |

Makar Sankranti is celebrated in different way in Maharashtra where as Maharashtrian we exchange the multi color halwa and tilgul ladoos. While in lunch, Sweet and delicious Puran poli is offered.
