thats the specific thing about india dude, that is our culture which keeps us very unique from other nations and people, and invasion was done by english and islam where you can find only english, hindi and urdu but we have many other languages irrespective of their invasions that obviously means birth of many languages in india isnt the reason of foreign invasion.

In Indian there is more than 1200 languages and some languages don't have written letters or words and some languages don't have grammar. If you try to find the origin of these languages, it will be amazing and you can't find the exact fact behind this.

India is a country with a very rich, ancient cultural history. Also because of the fact that people tended to stay in their local village areas, meant that dialects grew apart over time into distinct languages. Sanskrit is the parent language of many subcontinental languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Nepali and more. Sanskrit is an amazing language which has inherent power because the Rishis made the language from the seed sounds of the Universe, I'd encourage you to study it.

Seriously? I doubt anybody would be interested in studying Sanskrit these days. Its nowhere around and required unfortunately.

Infact students are opting for subjects like German and French in 10th, thus another reason Sanskrit is pushed back.

India is a very diverse nation. It comprises of many languages, customs, traditions, culture and so on. India being a very vast country has reasons for it origins at ends like north, south, east and west. For example in down south India you have language like Portuguese, Konkani, Tamil, Kanada, Malayalam, etc. these languages have come into India due to various invaders like the Britishers( Portuguese), Aryans who entered way back before the time of the British and even another group known as the Dravidians who brought in various other south languages. The Santhals were considered to be one of the oldest tribal group who associated very well with eastern part of the country and they are responsible to bring in languages like Bengali, although not wholly but roughly.

Hindi and English are however, considered to be the official languages of India and it is definitely spoken widely all over, except in the remote areas where you have various kinds of tribal languages that exist.

Hi....

Use of so many languages in India is due to indian culture and tradition..
As india is divided into different states, they have many more languages according to thier
states tradition..
