Q: So first thing first, how were you selected for the show?

Prince says: I was referred to the production team of the show by Mr Anjor Sharma as I had done a campaign for his news channel in 2008. I auditioned for the show after watching the 1st episode as I liked the amount of exposure it carried on TV. More so blind dating was a kickass idea to kill the monotony. I was instantly selected after that.


Q: How did you made it to the Grand Finale?

Prince says: I owe my Grand Finale appearance to the people who liked and openly appreciated my 1st episode with Aastha Bakshi. The Channel [V] crew and the production house “Twenty Onwards Media” crew have been far too kind in including me in this entertaining endeavor.


Q: Any past relationships?

Prince says: Any…. Few …..Many.


Q: What is your greatest strength and weakness?

Prince says: I consider connecting with people on a day to day basis as My Strength. The same tends to turn into a weakness as well if they start taking me for granted.


Q: What do you do when you’re not RJ’ing?

Prince says: Since my primary work is that of a promo producer. I work on my creative properties while in the studios. Once I'm out of office the world is a play ground and me n my friends make the best use of it.


Q: Did you find anything scripted in D2D?

Prince says: I think every journey must have an itinerary, that’s exactly the amount of scripting that could have been there in the show. We were real people in real situations reacting in the most real way possible.


Q: Which is your most memorable moment on the show?

Prince says: The 10 push ups were definitely the most memorable moment for me as I was asked to do 5 and I took it to the next level by pushing my limits lol.


Q: How does it feel being rejected by the girls just because they find you fat?

Prince says: Hahahaha… its not something I am not used to … I’d say. I am quite a thick skin and I don’t really think any woman can make me feel rejected as I have risen above that feeling a long time ago. Indifference is the word.


Q: Seriously, have you started working out now?

Prince says: I have my own ways of keeping my weight under check and I follow them as much as I can. I think 85% of the people going to the gym are just trying to be cool.


Q: A lot of people have been admiring you on the internet as they find you to be the coolest guy in D2D Season 1, how does that feel?

Prince says: Well it instills my faith in the intelligence of all the television viewers. On a serious note it’s quite a humbling experience as all the appreciation I got showered with was by people who felt for me without even meeting or knowing me in person. My world just got bigger. Thank you God and thanks a ton everyone as I always say


Q: Any “Behind the Scene” secret you’d like to share?

Prince says: The real talent is always hidden behind the camera. I'd say there wasn’t any specific “Behind the scene“ happening as we were having the same amount of fun off camera as much as it’s evident on screen. I think Sanket falling off the platform while rehearsing for the dance performance was the only shocking yet weird happening on the sets that viewers couldn’t catch.

(Though I wanted to say that Malvika has an evil twin who was swapped on the sets before I met her which made her react the way she did and Alisha has gotten herself operated specially to move like Shakira lol )


Q: Is Andy for real?

Prince says: Totally depends on what you are asking about. lol Andy is Super fun to be with as he makes the contestants really comfortable and gives them a reality check as well in his own witty way.


Q: Choose one with a reason - Astha, Malavika or Alisha?

Prince says: None of the above ….because I believe in perseverance but hate to be pathetic… more so they lost their worth halfway down every episode for me. It was pretty evident by my discouraging song performance.


Q: Last but not the least, any piece of advice you’d like to give to the young guys who are a bit on the fatter side?

Prince says: All I'd like to say is being fat isn’t a crime but then keeping your weight in check never killed any one. If you love eating try keeping a balance between the healthy and so called unhealthy fattening food. Avoid being lazy and lethargic. And last but not the least ….Be Yourself…… KEEP IT REAL \,,/

by the way, I am shocked to know that Malvika has a twin sister and they exchanged places LOL. I wonder why wasn't it showed on TV. I mean the real spice of the show was off cam, doesn't make sense to me.
